Design Challenge: In the sea of information and the list of obstacles, it is hard to see the problems that need to be solved at this moment. The information from the NICU, the speculative designs of the artificial womb completely replacing the pregnancy and the ethical questions. The knowledge surrounding the current development is still divided. The communication between different stakeholder is difficult and is slowing doen the development of the artificial womb. The problem of the project is the lack of material to start a discussion about the artificial womb between the stakeholders. The aim of this project is to support the start of this discussion by making a concept design showing current developments and major problems.

The result were renders of a variety of Artificial Womb designs based on the requirements at the time. These renders were used by people at the PLS group to guide their design and present concepts for a separate cannulation process.
